Devastating hailstorm in Europe on June 27th 2018


Strong hailstorm in the province of Modena between San Felice sul Panaro, Massa Finalese, Finale Emilia and San Martino Spino with beans maximum size locally up to 3 cm. The hailstorm continued in the province of Montova affecting the area between Sermide, Ostiglia, Revere and Poggio Rusco, in particular between Sermide and Malcantone with grains up to about 3 cm. Also hit Castelnovo Bariano in the province of Rovigo.

Strong hailstorm in the area of ​​Valdobbiadene, Vidor and surroundings (province of Treviso), the largest grains have reached 3 cm in diameter. The hail has also struck Cornuda and some areas of the towns of Caerano di San Marco and Crocetta del Montello.
Intense hail in the Veronese plain, especially between Spinimbecco and Villa Bartolomea with grains of over 2 cm and other areas east of Legnago.
