EMILIA-ROMAGNA / LOMBARDIA / VENETO
Strong hailstorm in the province of Modena between San Felice sul Panaro, Massa Finalese, Finale Emilia and San Martino Spino with beans maximum size locally up to 3 cm. The hailstorm continued in the province of Montova affecting the area between Sermide, Ostiglia, Revere and Poggio Rusco, in particular between Sermide and Malcantone with grains up to about 3 cm. Also hit Castelnovo Bariano in the province of Rovigo.
Strong hailstorm in the area of Valdobbiadene, Vidor and surroundings (province of Treviso), the largest grains have reached 3 cm in diameter. The hail has also struck Cornuda and some areas of the towns of Caerano di San Marco and Crocetta del Montello.
Intense hail in the Veronese plain, especially between Spinimbecco and Villa Bartolomea with grains of over 2 cm and other areas east of Legnago.
Between Verona, Vicenza and Padua, hail in the area between Bevilacqua, Pojana Maggiore and Montagnana, usually with beans within the 2 cm threshold.
Barbarano Vicentino (province of Vicenza), hail with grains within the 2 cm threshold.
FRIULI VENEZIA GIULIA
Hail west of Udine, we have news from San Vito di Fagagna, Codroipo and Gradisca (Pordenone) but with beans under the threshold of 2 cm.
Hailstones have affected the area between Cimpello and Fiume Veneto (province of Pordenone), with beans within the 2 cm threshold.
Hail to the south-west of Gorizia, between Romans d’Isonzo, Gradisca d’Isonzo and Farra d’Isonzo, and in the Ronchi dei Legionari area, however with grains under 2 cm.
Salzburg, strong hailstorm with locally grown up to 3 cm and up to 4 cm in the Anif area (south hinterland of Salzburg).
Jorăşti and Petreşti (municipality of Vânători, district of Vrancea), dense hailstorm with grains maximum size almost 3 cm.
Between Beşalma and Comrat (Gagauzia), strong hailstorm, many damages to the agricultural sector for beans of at least 2 cm.
Glufishevo (Sliven region), news of a dung haunted with much damage to the agricultural sector. Probable beans of at least 2 cm.
Reported damage on Laspaules (province of Huesca), where the beans have reached 3-4 cm in diameter.
