Strong hailstorms also in the area of Aci Sant’Antonio, Viagrande, Trecastagni, Pedara, Nicolosi, Mascalucia, San Giovanni La Punta (province of Catania) with beans locally up to 3 cm and damage.
Hail also on the coast of Catania in the area of Aci Trezza, with beans up to about 2 cm.
SARDINIA
Area between Bari Sardo and Tortolì, strong hailstorm, grains up to over 3 cm, probable damage.
Escalaplano (province of Cagliari), we have news of a strong hailstorm, at the moment there is no known bean size.
Sorgono (province of Nuoro), dense hail with beans up to 2 cm.
PUGLIA
Spiaggiabella, Torre Rinalda and Torre Chianca (province of Lecce), dense hail, beans up to 2 cm.
SPAIN
Bullas (Murcia), dense hail, beans between 1 and 2 cm. Hail also on the road between Bullas and Cehegín.
Abla (Almeria), dense hail, beans between 1 and 2 cm.
ROMANIA
Măgura and Gura Putnei (province of Suceava), violent hailstorms with grains of about 2 cm, but probable maximum maximum size. It is possible that the hailstorms were extended to other towns in the area between the municipalities of Straja, Putna, Brodina and Ulm.
RUSSIA
Nikitino (Mozhaysk district, Moscow region), strong hailstorm, grains up to over 3 cm.
UKRAINE
Kiev, dense hailed in the city. In some districts the beans have slightly exceeded the 2 cm threshold, so we do not exclude the possibility of damage.
